                        Legal: Copyright, Trademarks, and Patents

If you are going to be a business, then it is important that you protect your intangible assets:

                        1. Copyright your uniquely written materials,
                        2. Trademark your brands, and
                        3. Patent your unique goods and services.

This page will become a page of links to videos that describe those processes.

If the content does not go deep enough, or it is not immediately relevant, the second level of links will point to video and related content outside of Small Business School.   If we find no videos and relevant content outside this school, we will invite you to create those videos and content.

                        Copyright:                                    ? Small Business School

You will notice that the framework for all Small Business School online content includes a copyright indenture. You should, too. The HTML character set for it is simply --  © -- and it is usually followed by a year and the business or person. That indenture makes three claims: it is protected copy, it is unique copy, and the company or person cited is the protector of owner's rights for that copy.
