Potential Cities: These do not exist yet.
The advent of numbers changed everything within human history. The use of those numbers to quantify and position everything on earth is continually improving. Time Zones are rough approximations with political overtones. The Global Positioning System, however, is relatively absolute. As time moves on, the GPS designations will be increasingly important to everyone. The "perfect" GPS coordinates will be located and just because of those coordinates, the land will be shaped for use. In Time Zone #8, there are no less than three of these potential cities:
1. 70.00.00 N 70.00.00.00 E: Russia About 20 miles from Neya-To, Yamalo-Nenetskiy avtonomnyy Okrug.
2. 60.00.00 N 60.00.00 E: Russia Just to the west of Grigor'yevka, Sverdlovskaya Oblast
3. 50.00.00 N 50.00.00 E: Kazakhstan Near Besterk, Batys Qazaqstan
The next perfect quadrant is 40/40, Turkey: Not far from Otlukbeli, Erzincan and it is in Time Zone 11. And, of course, there are quadrants at 69/69, 68/68, and so on. These are interesting and will be significant yet not as much as those defined by 10s from 10 to 70.
